Going “green” has become a big buzz-word in the industry, but here at Beyond Zebra, it has been our way of life since the beginning.  Because our goal is to reduce our carbon footprint, perhaps our gravest concern is that most eco-friendly materials are more readily available overseas.  However, in sourcing green product overseas, a huge amount of emissions is released during transport.  This is similar to the problem we face at the grocery store: Should I buy produce that’s organic or local? While there are no simple or easy answers to this question, BZI has a commitment to working with each client to make thoughtful choices.  Greenness of product, quality, price and freight method must all be considered.  Through this collaborative process, we hope to educate our clients, our suppliers and ourselves, and pick the product that is best for each program. 

We continually seek out new and developing merchandise sources that are organic, sustainable, regenerative and recycled. Our belief  is that we must all do our part to care for the environment we are leaving to our children.
